RTS Cymru Annual Lecture by Jane Tranter

We all know that Wednesdays can be the hardest day of the week, but this Wednesday evening promises to be a lot more exciting than most.

If you’ve ever wanted to get up close and personal with the brainchild behind the phenomenal production company, Bad Wolf, then this is your opportunity.

Jane Tranter will take to the stage at this year’s RTS Cymru Annual Lecture, to explain how Bad Wolf was set up, the challenges she faced, and what the future has in store for Wales if it is to continue riding high as a global player in the TV and film industry.

Jane, having previously commissioned Doctor Who to be made out of Cardiff, continues to invest in drama made here in the Welsh capital, such as Sky One’s popular series ‘A Discovery of Witches’ and the upcoming drama based on the Philip Pullman novels ‘His Dark Materials’ - the trailer of which was launched this week to rave reviews and high praise from viewers.

Held at Cardiff University’s School of Journalism, Media and Culture, this is an event that is sure to be sold out, so clear your plans for Wednesday evening, follow this link for tickets and we’ll see you there at 6pm, fighting for a seat in the front row.
