Having provided the creative spark to bring Dr Who, Torchwood, Sherlock, Merlin and Casualty to Wales, productions attracted to Wales include Da Vinci’s Demons, The Bastard Executioner, Will and The Collection. Having won an Emmy for The Night Of, Bad Wolf has produced Sky One’s new fantasy series A Discovery of Witches and is currently working on the BBC adaptation of Phillip Pullman’s His Dark Materials.

University of South Wales

Channel 4 is a video on demand service from Channel Four Television Corporation. They have supported Screen Alliance Wales in our Screen 4 Schools programme, which has helped almost 2,000 young people across South Wales through the filmmaking process.

Their services include motion graphics, previs, animation, VFX, production design, concept art, digital matte painting and prop design. Since Painting Practice's formation over 10 years ago, the studio has grown into a hub of unlimited creativity, and original thinking.

Key Partner Schools

SAW Partner School - St Alban's Catholic Primary

St Alban’s is a single form entry school which offers a Catholic education for primary aged pupils (4 to 11 years old) living within the Parish of St. Alban’s, Tremorfa and the surrounding area. They have recently become our newest partner school, as we help them to meet the requirements of the new curriculum in Wales.

SAW Partner School - Ysgol Pen-Y-Bryn

Ysgol Pen y Bryn is a local authority maintained special school in Swansea.

They have developed a skills based curriculum and this continues to develop as we influence the new Successful Futures curriculum.

As a pioneer school they are leading the way for positive change in education in Wales.

As part of this, they developed a series of film projects over the last few years that have given the pupils experiences that benefit both their school work and future work opportunities.

As a Partner school, they developed our new Curriculum 2022 resources, which are free to download from our website.
