Pen-y-Bryn  Pen-y-Bryn `Ghostbusters’ Launch We were lucky enough to join our friends at Pen-y-Bryn this month for the launch of their new film, `Ghostbusters’. Congratulations on yet another successful term! We know how hard they worked and we have enjoyed following them on thier journey from making Proton Packs, to creating the music and sound effects to the actual filming! We loved seeing all their hard work on screen – even if we were a bit scared!!!

The excitement over at Pen-y-Bryn doesn't stop there! This term their Key Stage 3 learners are taking centre stage and bringing to life another film classic 'Home Alone'. The group will be working throughout the term to film scenes for this terms exciting project. In the film its the last day of the Summer Term and Kevin, his sister Megan and friends are getting ready for the holidays, but who will stop the iPad bandits from stealing all of the iPads at Pen-y-Bryn?  The Sixth Form learners will be taking charge of the props and sets for the project in our Production Design lessons, coming up with new traps and gadgets to be used in the finished film. The completed film will be made available from our school YouTube channel at the end of the Summer Term 2023. We can't wait to see it!

Ty Hafan  We were delighted to welcome the Ty Hafan’s sibling group to the studios recently for some workshops on deamon making and stop frame animation. We had a fantastic time and we loved all your creations! Thank you for coming we hope you enjoyed as much as we did!
