Bad Wolf are seeking an Edit Trainee

Bad Wolf:

Season 2 of Doctor Who has burst onto our screens, delivering epic adventures through time and space with the incredible Ncuti Gatwa as The Doctor and the brilliant Varada Sethu as Belinda Chandra, the newest addition to the Who-Family! Haven’t joined the adventure yet? Don’t worry! You can catch up on the first three episodes right now on BBC iPlayer or Disney+. But that’s not all—this Saturday, the journey continues with a brand-new episode, live on BBC One or available on-demand on BBC iPlayer.

In other Who news, the incredible Graham Norton steps into the world of Doctor Who for an out-of-this-world Interstellar Song Contest. And let’s face it—could it even be a song contest without him?

A huge round of applause to our incredible colleagues at Wolf Studios Wales for earning an ‘Excellent’ rating in the Albert Studio Sustainability Standard! They’re not just creating amazing TV—they’re doing it responsibly! That’s not all. Wolf Studios has also ranked 6th out of 31 studios internationally and achieved the coveted ISO14001 certification, becoming (we believe!) the first UK studio to meet this rigorous environmental management standard.

This is a phenomenal achievement, and we couldn’t be prouder. Well done, Team Wolf!

Bad Wolf’s very own Gabriella Ricci and Chan Chau took the stage at BAFTA Cymru’s BAFTA Guru Live Cymru session, ‘The World of Production’. They offered an exclusive glimpse into the magic of creating High-End Television, with a special focus on the vibrant industry right here in Wales.

HAVOC hits Netflix!

After much anticipation, Netflix’s No.1 action film HAVOC has finally landed - and shot straight to the top of the Global Netflix Movies chart in less than a week. We were thrilled to attend the cast and crew premiere in Cardiff earlier this month. Directed by Gareth Evans and starring Tom Hardy and Forest Whitaker, HAVOC was filmed largely in Wales, with all practical effects delivered by the Real SFX team - from explosive shootouts and bullet hits to atmospheric tension and full-throttle action. A huge well done to everyone involved in bringing this incredible production to life - a brilliant showcase of Welsh talent and a proud moment for the local film and TV industry. The response has been phenomenal, with critics praising the gritty realism and impact of the SFX throughout.t.

KIT4CREW

A quick reminder about our award-winning sustainability initiative, KIT4CREW. Designed to tackle industry waste, the scheme collects clean, good-condition workwear from productions and redistributes it to crew who need it - helping reduce waste and promote circularity on set. Want to get involved?

Email us at [email protected] to request a bin onsite or access available kit. We’re always looking for support and donations!

Cardiff Commitment:

The Cardiff Commitment Curriculum Team has successfully delivered another fantastic project supporting the Welsh Curriculum at Willows High School. Fully funded by Into Film, the initiative brought the Iris team on board to guide learners in turning their artistic visions into reality. As part of the Every Child a Filmmaker scheme, students received expert support in brainstorming, storyboarding, scriptwriting, camera operation, sound recording, and editing. This hands-on experience not only nurtured their creativity but also equipped them with invaluable industry skills.
