Sponsors and Supporters

The work we carry out is only made possible by the fantastic contributions from our wonderful Sponsors and Supporters. Here’s what our Sponsors and Supporters have been up to this month:

Bad Wolf: A round of applause for Marisa Abela as she took home the Best Actress Award for her phenomenal performance in Industry at this year's BAFTA's. Bravo!

Season 2 of Red Eye is on the horizon, and we’ve been blessed with an exciting first look! This month’s sneak peek teased us with glimpses of Jing Lusi and Martin Compston setting the stage for another round of drama.

Big news from The Other Bennet Sister! Meet Ella Bruccoleri, stepping into the role of Mary Bennet. You may know Ella from Paddington in Peru or Call the Midwife, and we can’t wait to see her bring Mary’s story to life.

The Bad Wolf team has been howling with community spirit! This month, our incredible Wolf Pack partnered with Welsh charities for a whirlwind of volunteering adventures: • Litter picking with Skills & Volunteering Cymru. • Planting rare species with Initiative for Nature Conservation Cymru. • Creating sensory-friendly outdoor spaces with Llandough Children’s Assessment Centre. • Spending meaningful moments with Cerebral Palsy Cymru, Hijinx Theatre, and ACT Training.

CEO, and Co-founder Jane Tranter, headed to the Hay Festival this month. She was invited to take part in the Creative Insights session, where she discussed her career, and offer insights into how to make a TV drama. She also was joined by the brilliant Janice Hadlow (Author) and Sarah Quintrell (Screenwriter) and moderator Rachel Parris for ‘Adapting Austen’ where they discussed reinterpreting Jane Austen for modern audiences!

Panalux: Panalux is delighted to be working with Profoto as they start their journey into lighting for the moving image. Both brands have such a strong history of innovation and passion for shaping light, and the Profoto L1600D and the wide array of light modifiers embodies this perfectly.

Real SFX: KIT4CREW continues to grow Our industry-led initiative, KIT4CREW, continues to expand with growing support from across the UK production sector. We’re proud to announce that Sustainable Film is now officially backing the initiative, helping us extend our reach even further. With their support, KIT4CREW boxes are now active in more major studios and production hubs, providing a practical, sustainable solution to redistribute new and gently used workwear and gear to crew members across the country.

Carmela Carrubba and Harry Hargreaves also recently shared a KITCREW update at the BECTU & CULT Cymru Locations & Productions Networking Event at Great Point Studios. It was a fantastic opportunity to share the impact of the initiative so far, connect with industry professionals, and even collect new donations on the day! A huge thank you to our friends at Sgil Cymru, Screen Alliance Wales, and the event organisers for their continued support.

If you’d like to get involved, please reach out to [email protected].

Sustainability at MPTS 2025 It was a pleasure for the Real SFX team to attend the Media Production & Technology Show in London earlier this month. We were proud to represent Wales at such a key national industry event and connect with colleagues from across the sector.

A standout moment was the BAFTA albert “Sustainability On Set” panel featuring Jimmy Keeping from Sustainable Film, which highlighted the crucial need for cross-department collaboration - including SFX - to drive real change across the industry.

Celebrating Welsh talent with the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama Another standout moment this month was a wonderful evening in support of the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. The evening celebrated the College’s mission to nurture creative talent and support students from all backgrounds, a cause very close to our hearts.

We’re delighted to announce that Real SFX will now sponsor an annual bursary for one deserving student, reinforcing our commitment to supporting the next generation of creative talent and championing the future of the arts in Wales. As a proudly Welsh-based company, we believe it's vital to invest in the people who will shape our industry’s future, both on and off screen.

We remain committed to innovation, sustainability, and inclusion in everything we do, and we’re proud to be the only SFX company listed on the 2025 BAFTA albert Supplier Directory.
