Our Vocal Histories of Wales project, proudly supported by Creative Wales, opened the door for aspiring creatives across South and North Wales to step into the world of unscripted television. Under the guidance of Executive Producer Angela Clarke, participants gained real, hands-on experience working as Directors, Researchers, Camera Operators, or Edit Assistants, immersing themselves in the fast-paced craft of documentary storytelling.
The stories captured are not just films; they are powerful voices from the heart of Welsh communities. With this project, our mission was simple: to celebrate the rich history, amplify local voices, and shine a light on the people whose stories make this place extraordinary.
Thank you to Creative Wales, Bad Wolf, Sony Pictures Television, Gorilla, University of South Wales, TAPE Community Music and Film, and to the people of Butetown, Grangetown, Swansea, and North Wales.
