Art Department

If you’ve always enjoyed creating art in different formats, then the Art Department could be for you!
The central hub of the overall look of the film working with many other departments.

Here’s where the Production Designer, and Graphic Designer live.

Production Office

If you love organisation, planning, and ensuring all paperwork, is in place, then you may want to consider a career in the Production Office.

The production office is where the Line Producer, and Production Manager live.

Assistant Director Department

If you enjoy being a part of the action, supporting various departments, and being the right-hand person to the Director, then the AD Department might be for you!

This is where the Floor Runners, 1st, 2nd and 3rd AD lives.

Set Decoration Department

Have you got an eye for interior design?
In the Set Dec department, you’ll be a part of the team who brings a set to life, bringing character to a home, an office and so much more!

Here’s where you’ll find the Set Decorator, and Set Dressers.

Props Department

If you enjoy crafting your own items, then the Props department might be for you!
In charge of creating, operating, maintaining and storing props to use on set, including action props.

Here’s where you’ll find the Prop Master and Chargehand.

Camera Department

Have you always been interested in cameras, and have an eye for visualisation?
In charge of filming the action that happens on set, ready for the post production team.

There’s where the Director of Photography and Camera Operators live!

Sound Department

If you’ve always been interested in audio, then the sound department might be for you.
Responsible for recording all the dialogue on set, the sound team are key to telling any story!

Here’s where the Sound Recordist, and Boom Operator live.

Post Production Department

If you’ve got an eye for detail, and a creative mind who enjoys seeing a project come to life, then the Post Production Department might be for you!

Here’s where the Editors live, the hands that help create the final story, and mood of the film.

Continuity Department

If you’re the person who notices the little things, then the continuity department might be for you.

A Script Supervisor, works closely with all the departments on set to ensure that each take resembles the last/next so that the edit flows smoothly.

VFX Department

Interested in adding post-VFX to real-time footage? The VFX department might be for you.

Support the creation of worlds, explosions, or hard-to-capture moments, this is where the VFX Supervisor, and Assistant live!

Animation Department

If you love animated films, and brining a story to life, then a career in animation might be for you!

Animators and 3D Artists live in the Animation Department!

Unit Photography

If you’re the person who loves capturing moments on photo, then a Unit Photographer might be the role for you!

Unit Photographers capture all the BTS on set, working like a fly on the wall. They also support with EPK work.

Screenwriting

If you’ve always had a wild imagination, then screenwriter could be for you!

A screenwriters work is at the heart of any production, but is brought to life with the support of all the other departments.

Work Shadowing Placements

If you’re interested in gaining first hand experience on a High-End Television production, then here’s your chance.
Get a few days experience in your chosen department with SAW.

Due to these opportunities being unpaid, we are currently prioritising those who live within a commutable distance to the studios.
