SAW is the gateway between the industry and its workforce. It grows and promotes the talent, crew and services of the film and TV industry in Wales. SAW is unique and will become the industry standard in promoting the complete supply chain from one single place.

Screen Alliance Wales is a not-for-profit organisation that recognises the global potential of the film and TV industry in Wales.

BADWOLF

Bad Wolf is an ambitious production company, based in Wales. Founded by Jane Tranter and Julie Gardner, its purpose is to create drama with global reach, to establish a sustainable centre of excellence and to build worldwide momentum for the film and TV industry in Wales. Having provided the creative spark to bring Dr Who, Torchwood, Sherlock, Merlin and Casualty to Wales, productions attracted to Wales include Da Vinci’s Demons, The Bastard Executioner, Will and The Collection. Having won an Emmy for The Night Of, Bad Wolf has produced Sky One’s new fantasy series A Discovery of Witches and is currently working on the BBC adaptation of Phillip Pullman’s His Dark Materials

THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH WALES (USW)

USW is a major player in UK higher education and has a reputation for delivering excellence through its film and TV courses. It has campuses in Cardiff, Pontypridd and Newport and is renowned for its partnerships with employers across the creative industries. The University’s expertise in film making and the reputation of their alumni is widely acknowledged. Many staff members are award-winning film makers who continue to work in the industry. SAW is partnering with USW on its exciting new Film & TV School Wales which will provide students with the best opportunities to build a successful career in 21st century film and television.

SHADOW SCAFFOLDING

Shadow Scaffolding was established in January 2004 to supply access scaffolding for new build housing projects, along with existing commercial renovation schemes. The company is now the leading supplier of scaffolding, rigging and labour to the creative industries in Wales. It has serviced many of the feature film and high end drama productions in Wales. Its customers includes broadcasters and all the major production companies in Wales.

Movietech is one of the UK's largest and most experienced camera and grip rental companies. The company has been serving the film-making community for over 25 years and is currently based at Pinewood Studios Wales.

4WOOD CONSTRUCTION

4Wood Construction specialises in sets for film and TV production. Since it was established in 2005 the company has continued to produce scenery for a wide variety of media. DRAGON INTERNATIONAL STUDIOS

Dragon International Studios is a purpose built filming facility situated on a 100-acre site in Bridgend, offering over 40,000 square feet of space across three fully sound-proofed stages. It also has an additional 10,000 square feet of workshop and storage space, as well as additional office and administration space. Recent projects filmed at the studio have included The Bastard Executioner, Will and the acclaimed drama Keeping Faith.

They are fully E.H.O. compliant and registered with Cardiff County Councils food safety team. Facilities by ADF provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features.
