Last month, Bad Wolf had a hugely successful night at the Cardiff Business Awards, winning the highly coveted award for Creative and Digital Business of the year 2019. Bad Wolf's senior Business Affairs and Legal Executive, Ifty Khan, accepted the award alongside Screen Alliance Wales’ managing Director, Allison Dowzell.
Held in Cardiff City Hall, the Cardiff Business Awards is an annual event and has, over the past five years, awarded companies for their achievements in business and beyond. Within the historic walls of Cardiff’s City Hall, these awards show just how vibrant a hub of commerce and industry Cardiff has become.
As a company that is continually growing and expanding in the competitive Film and TV industry, Bad Wolf is delighted to have been recognised for its contribution to the creative sector for the work Screen Alliance Wales has done in promoting local talent and creating the very best opportunities across Bad Wolf’s productions.
Screen Alliance Wales, which is renowned for its role in providing education, training and opportunities for Welsh based crew, was set up by Bad Wolf as they recognised the need to meet the incredible demand for Welsh based crew.
With the support of Bad Wolf and the local production community, the future of Screen Alliance Wales and its position on the Welsh Film and TV scene seems to be cemented. Let’s hope that with the ever-increasing demand for high-end dramas and productions to be filmed in Wales, Bad Wolf’s award-winning streak will last for a long time yet.
